National Beer Day
Today is National Beer Day, I’m sure for many that probably seems like everyday..lol. But seriously, April 7th (1933) is the day President Roosevelt ended prohibition early for beer in the U.S. I’m gonna go out on a limb here, I’m guessing he was a beer fan. And all though we like to think that America is number 1 in everything, we are ranked 21st in the world for beer consumption. Who would of thought? When it comes down to beer production however we are the 2nd largest producer in the world with more than 9,000 breweries and growing. So, take that Czech Republic (they ranked first in drinking the most beer)! I think the great thing about beer is that it is pretty much a worldwide beverage, and much like wine there are beers to match almost every meal scenario, from dark and brooding to light and crisp, sound familiar?
Coachella Valley has been keeping up with the beer scene as well. I think the quality is up there with top producers from around the world.
But don’t take my word for it, check out our list below and get out there and try them for yourself. Cheers and Happy National Beer Day!
