Easy at Enzo's Bistro & Bar

Off of Hwy 111, in Rancho Mirage nestled from across the hill is Enzo's Bistro & Bar. The newly renovated restaurant known as 'Dominick's in its Hey Day , and previously Fisherman's Restaurant & Bar is now open.

We were met at the door by the Catering and Banquet Manager, Ivonne Moreno, who gave us a tour of the spacious facility. Our first stop was the bar, which had a chill atmosphere, as were the bartenders who guided us through some new concoctions. I highly reccomend the Sicilian Caddy, it's like having a margarita with amaretto, on vacation in Italy. Our next stop was the expansive patio housing an x-large fireplace, seating approximate 80 persons and perfect for any occasion.

On the way to the dining room was a view to die for, two dry cure refrigerators filled with dry aged steaks and salume. Last time I saw this was in Rome Italy, and oh what a sight, abondanza!

By then, I was drooling and hungry and ready for the five course tasting menu. The food was awesome, as if your Italian grandmother was rolling the pappardele by hand in the back. The menu ranged from pasta bolognese to Eggplant parmigiano, fish, veal and a tasty cannoli. Go to enzosbistroandbarranchomirage.com

A shout out to the amazing Justin the Piano Man. His music kept the good vibes going all night.
